Weekend Event

2015-09-08

Saturday of last weekend was the 30th “Shiga Concert”.

As it’s a locally rooted concert, the venue was the gymnasium of the local elementary school, and it was almost a full house!! The entire middle school student body participated together with many people, such as the local choir, elementary school students, and the Matsumoto Symphony Orchestra. (The girls from the dorm also all participated in the choir!)

After the drum performance from the Shiga Koryuukai, the wind ensemble performance from the middle schoolers (in which three of the girls participated), violinist Atsuko Tenma’s performance, and the Matsumoto Symphony Orchestra, last up was a performance with everybody present at the venue together with the Matsumoto Symphony Orchestra. “Shinano no Kuni” (the song of Nagano Prefecture) was sung in a large chorus, and then the curtain descended.

Sunday was…a meeting and practice session with Kazuya Iio-san, former player for the Matsumoto Yamaga Football Club!! It ended up raining that day, and the session was held in the gymnasium, but the parents of the girls in the dorm and the families who evacuated from Fukushima to Matsumoto who took part were very fired up! Even the children who had stiff expressions at the start had very nice smiles on by the time it was about to end. I hope that it refreshed them, both in mind and body.

As for me, that night my muscles started hurting straight away… (LOL)

The event appeared in the local newspaper, too ↓↓

The Bespectacled Chef Makes Snacks

2015-06-28

In order to introduce the books at her middle school, our “Bespectacled Chef”, who is on the school’s Library Committee, borrowed a book on making snacks. She intended to make snacks in the book as a way of introducing it. In two hours’ time, she made both “rice crackers” and “dorayaki” with all her might. (T/N: Dorayaki consists of two small pancakes with red bean jam in between them.)

(pic)

Midway, the girls who came to the kitchen on their study breaks kindly helped, and the delicious-looking snacks were completed.

This weekend, the sounds of the cicadas are echoing,

And the breeze feels very comfortable.

私の好きなもの紹介 -Sharing My Favorite Things -

「Follow me」と「candy smile」と「highschool love」です。

どっちもポップで可愛い曲なので、

女子はみんな好きになると思います!!

Sharing My Favorite Things

2015-3-3

This time on the blog, I, Suu, would like to share my favorite things. (Because I think that the content of the blog has about run out (LOL)).

(pic)

First of all, I love people like musicians and models and read about them often in magazines. My favorites out of all of them are Hirose Suzu-chan, SEKAINOOWARI, and e-girls. (T/N: “SEKAINOOWARI” means ‘end of the world’).

I think there are many people who know Hirose Suzu-chan. Right now she is in great demand for things like commercials and TV shows, and furthermore working as an actress with her sister. She is a much noticed 17-year-old.

Although there are a lot of things I like about her, in the end I really love her mischievous and pure personality and her frequent laughter!!! Really, I love Suzu-chan so much that I almost can’t transmit it here!!! Right now, she is playing the lead role in a drama called “School Ghost Stories”, but there is no television in the dorm (LOL) It is popular among my school friends. So everyone, please, certainly watch it!

(pic)

Also, I like music, and recently I have been listening to Sekaowa (T/N: abbreviation for SEKAINOOWARI.) and e-girls a lot. By the way, the songs by Sekaowa that I recommend are “Fushichou (Eng: Phoenix)”, “Starlight parade”, and “Kachoufuugetsu (Eng: Beauties of Nature)”. The musical arrangement and the melody and vocalist’s voice in the songs are very pretty, so I think even an adult can get into it!

And one more: my recommended songs for the group called e-girls which has been popular lately among girls are “follow me”, “candy smile”, and “highschool love”. They are all cute pop songs, so I think every girl will come to like it!!

(pic)

The end! This was my ‘presentation of my favorite things’ corner!

(Aaaaa! Very soon will be our graduation ceremony, and once that’s over, the class field trip------!!!! …and then entrance examinations…|||||(=ω=)\ガーン|||||)

By Suu

(Comment from K: Huh-? The content of the blog hasn’t run out. There’s no way that it can run out while living together with girls this amusing, right? (LOL))
